The Eternal Grace of God is Offered to All Mankind
God’s Eternal Grace is unmerited favor and it is offered to anyone who will accept it God forgives us, has mercy on us and gives us His Grace if we will receive it. Let me explain each of these terms in a way that it will remain in your memory forever. FORGIVE: If someone took the life of your child, to forgive that person would mean that you did not hold anything against them, but they would still have to pay for their crime. MERCY: If you had mercy on that same person it would mean you forgave them and in your mercy they would not have to pay for their crime. You release them from punishment. GRACE: Grace is to forgive and have mercy but it is the ultimate of love manifest. To give grace to the person that had taken the life of your child would mean that you forgave them, had mercy on them so there would be no penalty to pay and then adopt them into your family and give them the inheritance that belonged to your child This is Grace and exactly what God did for you and me. Ephesians 2:8 - “For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT OF GOD.”
We have a God that has bestowed upon us the riches of His Grace. No one can earn it, purchase it, or get good enough to deserve grace; it is God’s Gift to anyone who will accept it. This act of Grace if accepted will take us through this life, and usher us into God’s presence when He calls us home. We have all Eternity to worship and praise Him, that is, if you have made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life. You can’t just float along in this life and expect to make Heaven. Eternity is a long time and I pray that you have made your reservation. The word “Eternity” means without end. We already know that but our minds can’t really take it in. The reality of Eternity is impossible to comprehend because we live in the dispensation of time. We live with time daily. To mankind we think we have a beginning and an end, however in reality we are already living in eternity. Our flesh bodies are only temporal, but our spirits (the real you) are eternal. The moment we were born in the flesh, we stepped into eternity and we will continue to live after this natural life is over. The question every person must answer is “where will I spend eternity, Heaven or Hell?” There is a choice we all must make. You may say, I don’t have to make any choice, but you see if you fail to accept Jesus as your Savior, you have made the choice already and that is to spend your eternity in Hell. Do you know that the sinner isn’t sent to Hell because he sins? No, he goes to Hell because he has rejected Christ. I am sure you know what John 3:16 says, but do you know what John 3:18-19 says? The Living Bible makes it very clear. - “There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust him to save them. But those who don’t trust him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God. Their sentence is based on this fact: that the Light from heaven came into the world, but they loved the darkness more than the Light; for their deeds were evil”.
There is a choice to be made and each person must make it for themselves. No one can make it for us. Our physical birth was determined by our parents, we didn’t have a choice, but now we are the ones making choices for our life. God has given mankind the right of choice, He said we must choose. Even God can’t make that choice for us. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (LB) - “I call heaven and earth to witness against you that today I have set before you life and death, blessing or curse. Oh, that you would choose life; that you and your children might live! Choose to love the Lord your God and to obey Him and to cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days…”
The two choices we have are Eternal Life with God or Eternal Death suffering the torments Hell offers. Remember eternity means, endless, never ending. Regardless if you choose Heaven or you choose Hell, you will live eternally in one place or the other. The scripture tells me that once you get to Hell you cannot turn back. Hebrews 9:27 “…it is appointed unto man once to die but after this the judgement”. The choice that you make will be final after you die physically, there will be no do-overs, no second chances. However I have good news if you haven’t made your choice yet you can have a do-over now. You can settle forever your eternal destination. God has offered Grace to the world, some have accepted His Love, but many have turned a deaf ear. God is offering you, right now through this lesson His Eternal Grace. You can accept His Grace by receiving Jesus as your Savior right now, this very moment and spend the rest of your eternity in Heaven. All you need to do is pray the prayer in this lesson, believe it with your heart, and you will pass from eternal death (separation from God) to eternal life. God’s Word says He will forgive us and make us His Own when we accept the finished work of Jesus. Romans 10:9-10. - “That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Read that same scripture in the Living Bible. - “For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe in your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation.”
If you want to change your eternal destination, you can do so by praying this prayer.
Jesus, I ask to be forgiven of all my sins and to be cleansed of all unrighteousness. I do believe that you are the Son of God and that you came to earth and died on the cross for me. I believe that you shed your blood that I might be saved. I thank you Jesus, for loving me enough to die for me. I accept all that you did for me on the cross and receive you as my Savior and Lord right now. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer, you have just become a new creature in Christ. “When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun”. II Corinthians 5:17(LB) The King James Bible says, “You are a new creature.” You are starting over with no sin against you. You are now a member of God’s Family and no longer under the authority of Satan. Jesus has delivered you out of the power of darkness into God’s Kingdom. Colossians 1:13 Your old sin nature and all your past sins are passed away never to be remembered by God forever. That’s something to shout about. Tell someone you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior and then follow Him as He directs your path. PRAISE GOD, I HAVE JUST BEEN BLESSED WITH A NEW BROTHER OR SISTER THAT I WILL MEET SOMEDAY IN ETERNITY. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!
