Alpha and Omega

Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Jesus is the Word made Flesh, the creative and sustaining God, and He is found in every Book of the Bible.

In Genesis - He is the promised Seed, the Ram at Abraham’s altar

In Exodus - He is the Smitten Rock, the Passover Lamb

In Leviticus - He is the sacrificial Lamb, the High Priest

In Numbers - He is the Cloud by day and Pillar of Fire by night

In Deuteronomy - He is the Prophet like unto Moses

In Joshua - He is the Captain of our Salvation

In Judges – He is the Judge and Lawgiver, the Messenger of Jehovah

In Ruth – He is our Kinsman Redeemer and Faithful Bridegroom

In I Samuel – He is the Prophet of the Lord

In II Samuel – He is the Princely King

In I Kings – He is the Reigning King

In II Kings – He is the Holiest of all

In I & II Chronicles – He is One Greater than Solomon

In Ezra – He is seen as Lord of Heaven and Earth, our Faithful Scribe

In Nehemiah – He is the Wall- builder

In Esther – He is Our Mordecai

In Job – He is the Living Redeemer

In Psalms – He is my Shepherd and coming Messiah

In Proverbs – He is Wisdom

In Ecclesiastes – He is the Truth above the sun

In Song of Solomon – He is the Rose of Sharon, The Beautiful Bridegroom

In Isaiah – He is the mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Suffering Servant

In Jeremiah – He is the Lord our Righteousness

In Lamentations – He is the Weeping Prophet

In Ezekiel – He is the Four-Faced Man, the Prince who enters the Eastern Gate

In Daniel – The Fourth Man in the midst of the fiery furnace

In Hosea – He is the Risen Son of God

In Joel – He is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit

In Amos – He is the Burden Bearer, One Standing upon the alter

In Obadiah – He is our Savior

In Jonah – He is the Forgiving God

In Micah – He is the Messenger with Beautiful Feet

In Nahum – He is the Avenger of God’s Elect

In Habakkuk – He is the Watchman praying for revival

In Zephaniah – He is the Merciful Christ

In Haggai – He is the Cleansing Fountain

In Zechariah – He is the Pierced Son

In Malachi – He is the Son of Righteousness with Healing in His Wings

In Matthew – He is the Messiah

In Mark – He is the Miracle Worker

In Luke – He is the Perfect Son of Man

In John – He is the Son of God

In Acts – He is the Ascended Lord

In Romans – He is the Lord our Righteousness, the Justifier

In I Corinthians – He is our Resurrection

In II Corinthians – He is our Sin Bearer, the Last Adam

In Galatians – He is the One who sets us free from the Law

In Ephesians – He is the Head of the Church

In Philippians – He is the God who meets our every need

In Colossians – He is the Fullness of the Godhead

In I & II Thessalonians – He the Soon Coming King

In I Timothy – He is the Mediator

In II Timothy – He is the Righteous Judge

In Titus – He is the Blessed Hope

In Philemon – He is the Friend Closer that a Brother

In Hebrews – He is the High Priest, the Blood of the Everlasting Covenant

In James – He is the Great Physician

In I Peter – He is the Chief Shepherd

In II Peter – He is the Day Star Arising in our Hearts

In I John – He is the Way, Our Advocate

In II John – He is the Truth

In III John – He is the Life, and Everlasting Love
